Overdue Art Complete – Watercolours, Grenamoya, Comic Strips and Junk!

To finish up my huge backlog of art…

*Shadow Runner

He is the watercolour painted version of my Shadow Runner profile sketch.  She is a pretty grey-and-black dinosaur, and wears a symbolic necklace around her neck of the island’s deity, Scaless, and her six children. =3

Ramsey & Blanoka

Here is Ramsey in glorious colour with little Blanoka.  I was in mega joys with my watercolour, it’s the first medium I ever painted in and it will always be a love of mine.

Toby & Ulyssis

I used a rougher style for this watercolour, with a slightly hatched texture, and I loved it too!  I was sitting in my late grandfather’s office chair to paint all of these, and I think it made me more skilled than I should be. :/ But no matter, I felt totally in the zone.  I love that darn chair!

Ruri & Jeager

And last but not least in my watercolour collection so far, it’s little Ruri with her mother, Jeager.  They have a nice, blotchy orange halo for some reason XD I was in the mood for one.  Natural art never scans the way you want it to, but I was totally pleased with how all of these turned out.

Miguel, Chris, Robin, Warsman, Kevin & Tobias

I was watching the Steve Wilkos show (I’ve been a fan of Steve’s since the days when he had hair!), and realised that the throwing of chairs was like something out of a WWE Pay Per View special.  So in preparation for the start of their new wrestling league, RIFF, some of the guys involved are watching Steve.  All together now: “STEEEEEVE!!!!”

Robin & Wonderland

Watching the Olympic showjumping, there was a jump called Tower Bridge, and every time someone went over it or mentioned it or the camera went past it, Robin would declare “Tower Bridge!” in reference to his classic wrestling move.  It drove everyone mad.  So I doodled this super quick picture of him riding his horse ‘Wonderland’ (in tribute to his late wife, Alice) over the Tower Bridge jump XD It’s sketchy, but so is Robin’s credibility.

Many years ago, in the infancy of our Random Fandom, we had a merger between the anime series Ultimate Muscle & the video game Project Zero/Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly.  In our version, instead of Mio, Jeager from Ultimate Muscle, complete with a girlish outfit, ended up in the Lost Village searching for his inexplicably tiny and Japanese ‘twin sister’, Mayu (known to the rest of us as Limpy because of her bad knee).  Warsman, then in his disguise as Lord Flash, went with him.

Now, as the game is rereleased for the Wii, Jeager decides to face his demons (and the ghost that made him void himself, Peeping Child) one last time.  This time, he takes true-form Warsman, as well as his boyfriend Boris, his savant daughter Ruri, and his new friends Big Chris, Miguel, and Felicia in cat form.  These following panels document three pointless adventures in the Lost Village. 83

Robin, Warsman & Kevin

A quick drawing I did of Robbie, Kev & Warsi at the end of a rough day.  I think I was feeling vulnerable that day, so I drew this.  Everyone has arguments, everybody has days when they want to avoid people, and everyone has days when they need a loved one to comfort them.  Robin has little patience for his son, even in our AU, but Warsman will always be there.  He mediates between the two.  God bless loyal robot-kun. :3

And here they are, coloured.  I put a moody paint filter on top of my own colouring, and I believe it expresses what I wanted.  Makes me just want to cuddle up in a hug.

All caught up for now!  Mega yays 😀
